Blythe joined Surrogate Parenting Services as a surrogate in 2015 and became a Case Manager in January 2017. As a Case Manager she loved being able to educate, support and guide each party, while helping to create families. Her experience at SPS has been the most rewarding opportunity that she has been blessed to be a part of. She is currently serving as the medical records coordinator.
Blythe decided to join SPS based on their “with you every step of the way” mentality. Other agencies she was researching did not offer that and she felt she would have been left to navigate her surrogacy all on her own. As a Case Manager, she was honored to offer that same hand-holding that she received during her journey.
Blythe is grateful to be married to her best friend and is the mother of six: three boys and three girls. She enjoys yoga, traveling, hiking, snowboarding, and cooking. Blythe is now a Licensed Midwife serving the women and families of her community in midwifery care. As a very integral part of our team, she requests and reviews all surrogate’s medical records using her knowledge in obstetrics and contributes to the surrogate approval process with IVF clinics.
In addition to our list of services, SPS offers our families and surrogates an informational birth meeting/class hosted by Blythe, which prepares both parties for what to expect at the hospital during the birth. With her extensive knowledge, she helps to educate everyone on different options and how they can navigate the labor and hospital experience as best as possible.
Blythe’s knowledge of pregnancy and birth offers a great support to the surrogate and to the intended parents. She is always available to give support and answer questions any time of day. Her surrogates and her intended parents’ happiness is her top priority. Blythe’s goal is to make each party feel supported and comfortable through their whole journey, and she is honored to be a part of it with them.
